Radiocat for feline hyperthyroidism Bond Animal Hospital is a regional treatment center for Radiocat, which manages centers for the treatment of feline hyperthyroidism. Patient treatment and follow-up care is handled by Radiocat) and Dr. David Herring & Dr. Rand Wachstock. Radioiodine (I-131) is the preferred method for treating hyperthyroidism in cats. Although safe and efficacious, the treatment requires handling and administration of radioisotopes. We are proud to be a licensed facility for treatment of this common disorder.
